Refund policy

At Sundara Jewellery, we take pride in offering exquisite handcrafted jewellery. We understand that sometimes, you may need to return or exchange an item, and we aim to make this process as smooth as possible. Please read our detailed policy below to understand our terms and conditions for returns and exchanges.

1. Returns and Exchanges

  • We offer a 14-day return and refund policy from the date of delivery. Any requests made after this period will not be eligible for return or refund
  • To be eligible for a refund or exchange, the item must be unused, in its original packaging, with all tags intact, and free from wear and tear. Proof of purchase is required.
  • Earrings and jewellery sets that include earrings are not eligible for refunds due to hygiene and safety reasons.
  • Sale items and items purchased using gift cards cannot be returned or refunded.
  • To initiate a return or exchange, please visit the "Orders" section in your profile and provide the reason for your request.

2. Return Process

  • Once your return request has been received and approved, you will be responsible for covering the return shipping costs and arranging the return delivery
  • Returns sent without prior acceptance from Sundara Jewellery will not be processed.
  • The customer must ensure the returned package is securely packed to avoid damage during transit.
  • We will notify you within 5 business days of receiving the returned goods regarding the acceptance or rejection of your return.

3. Exchange Policy

  • If you would like to exchange an item, you must first return it in accordance with our return policy.
  • Once the return is accepted, you can purchase a new item. This ensures a faster exchange process.

4. Quality Inspection and Issues

  • Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. If you find any defects or issues, you must notify us at info@sundarajewellery.com

5. Refunds

  • If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. 
  • Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at info@sundarajewellery.com.

6. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be issued under the following circumstances:

  • Incorrect delivery address provided by the customer, including PO Box addresses or incorrect formatting.
  • Safe delivery or collection options are chosen, and the item is lost or misplaced due to these reasons.
  • Items that are damaged by the customer or returned in a damaged condition.
  • After two unsuccessful delivery attempts by our courier.
  • If the recipient rejects the package upon delivery.
  • If the returned products show signs of use or damage.
  • Items that have been worn or accidentally damaged by the customer.
  • Imitation jewellery is prone to tarnishing over time due to natural wear and tear. Such cases will not be eligible for returns or refunds.
  • Minor variations in colour and design are normal as all our products are handcrafted. Minor differences from the website images should not be considered defects.
  • Earring stems are crafted from a softer material to prevent snapping. Slight bending of the stems should not be considered a defect.
  • Earrings and jewellery sets that include earrings are not eligible for refunds due to hygiene and safety reasons.
